I first reviewed the SmarterFresh sprayer in 2018 and gave it full five stars.
This however is no longer the case and I’ve both dropped it down to four out of five stars and removed it from my recommended list of diaper sprayers — you can check out my top three recommended cloth diaper sprayers for 2022 here.
Why? It’s actually not because they are a bad choice, in fact this is a great sprayer that packs a punch in the pressure department, but this particular sprayer used to be my choice for a budget diaper sprayer and I used to sing their praises over customer service.
While they still offer customer service, it is no longer the proactive kind that blew my mind a few years ago. The warranty is also now only a one-year limited warranty, which is good, but not as great as it once was.
That, coupled with a rise in price and I just feel like there are better options. That said, it’s still a great sprayer and company, they’re just not at the top of my list any longer.
Pros:
- Easy instillation instructions, with all materials included, even the plumbers tape
- Great water preassure (Better than a sink sprayer)
- Pressure of the water spray is adjustable at the handle
- Stainless steel finish on all parts, including the sprayer, hose, and sprayer holder
- Sprayer holder can be hung from the tank, or mounted on the wall
- One year limited manufacturer warranty on all replacement parts
- Company has a strong reputation for customer service
Cons:
- Price seems to be increasing with time
- Customer service seems to be lessening over time
- Will not work with the Diaper Dawgs spray collar
